KALMATRON® KC - ADMIXTURE TO CEMENT

INTRODUCTION KALMATRON® KC  is a powdered admixture to the Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) to upgrade its performance with features up to Micro Cements. The lower the grades of the OPC, the higher effectiveness of KC. That's why results are variable but always exceed targeted properties.

APPLICATION

• KC is dosed  by 1% from weight of the OPC (10 Kg of KC per 1000 Kg of cement).

• KC performance does not depend on cement grindability.  

• KC brings highest  economical value  to OPC.

USES

• Upgrading of the low-active cements up to the highest modifications.

• Upgrading of abandoned cements after shelf life terms. 

• Non shrinking and water impermeable performance of concrete is common.

TRANSFORMATIONS OF ORDINARY PORTLAND CEMENT BY KC ADMIXTURE

As it is known, the production or enhancement of the high quality Portland cements is expensive because of costly fine grinding, longer term burning in kiln, cooling, etc.  

KC is very effective for lower grades, over aged or abandoned cements, that's why do not   test it with the standard quality and fine cements where is no space for improvements.
